With the extremely successful and popular Katana series, Boss has not only secured a permanent place in the modeling amp sector, but has also grown into the second largest manufacturer of electric guitar amplifiers in the world. With the Katana MKII models, they are now sending their popular amplifier series into the second round. In addition to tried and tested features, they also bring with them some innovations that will take your sound to a new level .

The five amp models, from clean to high gain, now have a switchable sound variation per amp model , meaning that ten instead of five basic sounds are now available. The quantity of effect sections that can be used simultaneously has also been increased to five.

More flexibility

The sections are divided into Boost, Mod, FX, delay and reverb with three variations each. This allows even more freedom when it comes to creative sound design , similar to a pedalboard. In addition, the output power of the Katana amps can be reduced as usual in order to adapt the volume to your surroundings, whether on the big stage or at home late at night.

Even more options

Also new are a power amp input, a stereo expansion and a revised Boss Tone Studio Editor software that offers access to 60 different effect types and four independent effect chains. You can also choose between the three different resonance types Vintage, Modern and Deep for speaker emulation.
