Mit den Katana MKII Modellen schicken sie nun ihre beliebte Amp-Reihe in die zweite Runde. Neben altbewährten Features bringen diese auch einige Neuerungen mit sich.
Die fünf Amp-Modelle, von Clean bis High Gain, verfügen nun über eine schaltbare Soundvariation pro Amp-Model, wodurch nun quasi zehn statt fünf Grundsounds zur Verfügung stehen. Auch wurde die Anzahl der Effektsektionen, die simultan verwendet werden können, auf fünf erhöht. Das ermöglicht noch mehr Freiraum in Sachen kreativer Klanggestaltung, ähnlich wie auf einem Pedalboard. Die Sektionen sind aufgeteilt in Boost, Mod, FX, Delay und Reverb mit je drei Variationen. Wie gewohnt lassen sich die Katana Amps in der Ausgangsleistung reduzieren, um die Lautstärke an eure Umgebung anzupassen, egal ob auf der großen Bühne oder zu später Stunde zuhause.
Außerdem neu sind ein Endstufeneingang, eine Stereo-Erweiterung und eine überarbeitete Editor-Software Boss Tone Studio, die Zugriff auf 60 unterschiedliche Effekttypen und vier unabhängige Effektketten bietet. Dort kann auch zwischen den drei verschiedenen Resonanztypen Vintage, Modern und Deep für die Speaker-Emulation gewählt werden.
