The acoustic guitar department in Frankfurt offers an extensive range: in addition to classical guitars and steel‑string acoustic guitars we also have ukuleles, mandolins and banjos, which make lovely alternatives and additions to the standard 6‑string instrument.

Here, nobody is simply given a guitar; alongside free choice we point out the anatomy and the physics between player and instrument — and that's exactly what sets a specialist shop apart! All our staff play guitar themselves and can draw on stage and studio experience.

Our service of course also includes the installation of pickups to convert your acoustic instrument into an electro‑acoustic one. We're always on hand to help and advise you. With our comprehensive check‑up we set up, clean and service your guitars. We also advise — very importantly — on correct storage and humidity! We offer products and tools to help you best preserve your instruments, which can be especially important during the heated winter months. We want to prevent your guitar from turning into a "clunker", and help it remain a guitar that gets better over time.

Service, repair and restoration of electric and acoustic guitars and basses in Frankfurt

We're pleased to be able to recommend, through our partnership with Hofmann Guitars and in the person of luthier Normen Hofmann, a skilled specialist for all your damaged guitars and basses. Normen is usually on site in Frankfurt on Fridays and accepts repair jobs. You can happily arrange an appointment with him personally by email.

Among others, Normen offers the following services:

Adjustment of neck relief, string action and intonation
Assembly and modification of electronics
Pickup installation
Fret dressing (leveling and crowning)
Cleaning and polishing of all surfaces

Repair

Paintwork in polyurethane and nitrocellulose lacquer
Routing work, e.g. for new pickup configurations
Gluing work on necks and bodies (e.g. broken headstock)
Refretting
New builds/reconstructions of necks and bodies

Minor jobs such as a string change, adjusting the string action or a neck adjustment can also be carried out by our acoustic and electric guitar departments.
