Friends of ambience and ethereal sounds can rejoice! Walrus Audio is pleased to introduce the Slöer reverb family with the Slöer stereo ambient reverb. The Slöer is a further development of the Slö and offers extensive stereo functionality with selectable settings between narrow, medium and wide stereo. The Slöer not only offers a completely new sound experience, but two completely new programs to discover: Rain, which works with diffusion-capable delay taps, and Light, which gives the sound an octave-up shimmer. The Slöer also offers two new modulation waveforms: Square and Random.
Walrus Audio has also added a stretch controls . The Stretch controls allows the player to influence the sample rate of the built-in DSP chip to extend reverb time, darken the sound and create unique sample-based effects . Sample rate is the frequency at which audio runs through DSP processing. Combine deep modulations, long reverb tails, on-board presets and an impressive stereo panorama.
The Slöer is available in a midnight blue enclosure with artwork by Christi Du Toit or a matte black enclosure with cream graphics.
