About Schagerl

The secret ingredient for the success of the brass instruments from the Schagerl instrument making workshop in Hörsdorf, Austria is the close collaboration with well-known musicians. From the beginning, they strictly focused on their needs when developing their trumpets and trombones. In recent years these have mainly been the instrumentalists of Mnozil Brass, a brass band that is causing a sensation across Europe and beyond the brass music scene. But the trumpeters of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonics are also regular customers. Schagerl's trademark is the rotary valve trumpet, which appears in the form of a perinet trumpet, which makes these instruments unmistakable even at greater distances. To this day, Schagerl is a small but fine brass forge that has been firmly in family hands for over 50 years. They don't deliver large quantities, but their instruments are all the more sought after. Session is pleased to be one of the few exclusive Schagerl dealers in Germany.
