The Roland JD-XA is a unique combination of analog and digital synthesizer and has very high creative potential. The analog section consists of four parts with analog filters and a separate output for the analog sound without effects. The digital area also has four parts based on Roland's SuperNATURAL sound generation, extensive effects and is compatible with the sounds of Roland's top sound module Integra-7. Both sound generators are separate from each other and therefore offer an ideal platform for extensive sound design - the question of "analog or digital" is a thing of the past: the future lies in both, in the JD-XA. In addition to the 2 oscillators, filter and amp sections , and four envelopes — all with incredibly fast response time , the JD-XA offers two LFOs with a very wide speed range, from very slow to ultra-fast. Create your own sound, or use the JD-XA as an eight-oscillator analog synthesizer with the legendary Supersaw waveform. Or you can use the Poly Stack mode and play four-part chords with the typical warm analog sound. With digital sound generation with four separate parts and 64-voice polyphony based on Roland's SuperNATURAL synthesizer sound technology, you have a large arsenal of modern, expressive digital sounds at your disposal. The Roland JD-XA is still compatible with the synthesizer sounds of the Roland INTEGRA-7 sound module, the “state-of-the-art” sound monster for producers, composers and sound designers. Roland JD-XA:

About Roland

Roland was founded as a manufacturer of various music materials and studio technology on April 18, 1972 in Osaka, Japan. Among the earliest products to come onto the market were the first rhythm machines from the TR series, whose successors TR-808, TB-303 and TR-909 had a significant influence on both techno and electro music, as well as hip hop scene. The JC-120 Jazz chorus guitar amplifier was also created in the mid-1970s, and both Andy Summers from The Police as well as Kirk Hammett and James Hetfield from Metallica were audibly impressed by its ultra-clear sound in conjunction with the built-in chorus effect . Since then and to this day, Roland has continuously expanded its catalog with high-quality and interesting products in a wide variety of fields such as digital pianos, groove boxes, e-drums and synthesizers.
