Von Anfang an war die KORG Keytar RK-100S wegen des ergonomischen Stylings, der mächtigen Sound Engine und des ultra-coolen Looks heiß begehrt. Mit dem RK-100S2 erfährt der kompakte Performance-Synthie die lang ersehnte Neuauflage.
Das Markenzeichen des RK-100S war der edle Holzkorpus, dessen Optik stark von der Gitarre beeinflusst war. Das RK-100S2 bewahrt dieses Merkmal und betont die natürliche Holzmaserung zusätzlich mit einer hauchdünnen Klarlack-Lackierung.
Besonders für durchsetzungsfähige Soli wurden dem RK100S2 zahlreiche neue Sounds spendiert. Die Kombination aus einer schlanken Minitastatur mit 37 Tasten, zwei Ribbon Controllern, einem integrierten Arpeggiator und einem Vocoder machen das RK100S2 zum idealen Begleiter für energiegeladene Bühnenperformances.
