From the start the KORG keytar RK-100S was highly sought after for its ergonomic styling, powerful sound engine and ultra‑cool look. The RK-100S2 brings the long‑awaited revival of the compact performance synth.
The hallmark of the RK-100S was the elegant wooden body whose appearance was heavily guitar‑influenced. The RK-100S2 retains this feature and emphasises the natural wood grain further with a very thin clear lacquer finish.
Numerous new sounds have been added to the RK-100S2, especially for cutting lead solos. The combination of a slim 37‑key mini keyboard, two ribbon controllers, an integrated arpeggiator and a vocoder makes the RK-100S2 the ideal companion for high‑energy stage performances.

The Japanese company Korg INC is one of the most renowned manufacturers of our time when it comes to electronic musical instruments and accessories. Among musicians the company is often simply referred to as Korg. The company was founded on 28 August 1963 by Tsutomu Kato and Tadashi Osanai. The nearly 300 employees at Korg INC are mainly engaged in the manufacture and marketing of synthesizers and samplers, drum machines and sound modules, keyboards and electric pianos, but also USB controllers, electronic drums as well as handy little helpers for guitarists.
