Anyone who uses the PLX-CRSS12 in DVS mode with Serato DJ Pro or rekordbox will never have to worry about a jumping needle again. Thanks to tonearmless player , you can scratch a real analog record as hard as you want without fear of missing a beat. And if you want to play a record in the traditional way, simply switch the record player to analogue mode and use the tonearm as usual.

No matter how you want to work with your turntables, the PLX-CRSS12 adapts to your own style. You can easily adjust how “heavy” or “light” the plate feels using the rotary wheel on the included MAGVEL CLAMP. In the utility settings there is also the option to change the turntable's torque . There are also three stopping speeds to choose from.

Tonearmless DVS control – no jumping needle during digital player
No matter how hard you scratch, the PLX-CRSS12's tonearmless system in digital vinyl mode makes a skipping needle a thing of the past. The new MAGVEL CLAMP ensures that a vinyl stays firmly in place when touched. At the same time, you can control digital music files directly, giving you a real vinyl feeling - without having to use the tone arm. When playing analog records, the experience is the same as with the popular PLX-1000 turntable.

Adapt the playing feel to your own style
Using the knob on the top of the MAGVEL CLAMP you can find your “perfect” playing feel. The torque is increased or decreased to make the vinyl feel lighter or heavier. It is not necessary to exchange or adjust the slipmat or slip sheet. You can also change the turntable's torque in the utility settings. There are three stop speeds to choose from using a switches on the front of the device.

Performance pads and OLED display: for precise and quick control
In addition to classic turntable layout elements, the PLX-CRSS12 also features four new, midi assignable performance pads, allowing you to have your favorite functions at your fingertips at all times. The pads are located exactly where you need them - directly under the turntable. This allows you to fire off hot cues and samples faster than ever before, which is especially useful when DJing with a mixer without pads . There is native support for various pad modes (see below), and a dedicated button can be used to switch control from pads 1-4 to 5-8. Since the pads are assignable via midi , it is possible to assign other functions to them.

The built-in OLED display helps to concentrate on the turntable. This allows you to keep track of the tempo range and key when using step pitching in analog or digital vinyl mode. In digital vinyl mode, BPM, key, deck number information and the software used are displayed. You also have quick access to the utility settings via the display . This means you don't have to look at your laptop or mixer during a performance.

With the PLX-CRSS12, the audience enjoys the music exactly as it was intended to be heard. The turntable has been carefully designed to improve the sound quality of the PLX-1000 professional DJ turntable, which is highly praised for its precise sound reproduction. By using a switching power supply, vibrations and interference from the transformer power supply are eliminated and unwanted noise is suppressed. This ensures high-resolution sound of the best quality. As with the PLX-1000, the upper part of the chassis is made of solid zinc die-cast and the lower part is made of 8mm thick resin to optimize the chassis structure and vibration-damping materials. As with the PLX-1000, the RCA connections consist of machine gold-plated parts. This transmits the phono signal directly via a reliable connection to the plug to reproduce the sound of analogue records in high quality.
