The Novation MiniNova is a performance synth, inside of which the sound generation that we already know from its big brother UltraNova works. With the 256 factory sounds and the 128 additional freely assignable memory locations, you can create dirty and fat synth-bass sounds, assertive leads and classic Vintage synth sounds . In addition to 14 conventional waveforms (square, sawtooth, sine, triangle, pulses and combinations thereof), there are 36 wavetables and 20 digital waveforms to choose from. The three oscillators offer the possibility of making sounds sounds fatter using Density/Detune. In addition, the MiniNova has Virtual Sync and Hardness, which can also be used as a lowpass filter . The 8 illuminated Animate buttons can be used in either Performance mode or Arpeggiator mode. The sounds can be easily edited and managed using the editing software included in the including (can be used as a plug-in in DAWs and music software ). With the performance section, the sound generation and effects can be accessed immediately and changed accordingly using the four controls . This creates direct access to a total of 24 sound parameters. The MiniNova also offers a vocoder with special VocalTune effects.
