These series also offer a wide selection of playing surfaces made from exotic woods to provide a broad palette of different tones. The Artisan Edition cajons are the spearhead of cajon craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Spain in collaboration with cajon master José Hernandes Diaz Pepote, these cajons leave nothing to be desired in terms of looks, sound and workmanship and get the best out of the possibilities of this versatile instrument. Even here, at the top end of exclusivity, individuality and choice are not lacking. In total, seven series are built by Pepote for Meinl in Spain.
