Martin 's Junior series instruments are slightly smaller than our full-size instruments, but you don't have to compromise on sound or volume, instead gaining comfort and portability. This Martin DJR-10E acoustic-electric bass is ideal if you enjoy writing and practicing on an unplugged bass, but also want the option to plug it in to record or play live with your band. The spruce bottom and sapele back and sides ensure a rich Martin bass tone whether you play unplugged or use the built-in Fishman® electronics. It also features a fast, comfortable neck so you can keep the rhythm section engaged. The DJR-10E bass is strung with Martin short scale length bass strings that were specifically made for this instrument .
