Product information
The history of the Celts came to North America with the emigrants and aspects of different cultures can be found in the M-24 edition 2021. An Adirondack spruce top from the northeast of the American continent matches the rib and bottom made of Claro Walnut, an attractive and excellent-sounding tonewood from Oregon on the west coast of the USA. And now the Celts come into play: We have decorated the fretboard with the classic “knots”, which can be seen here in white mother-of-pearl, matching the head and sound hole inlay. The M-24 edition 2021 sounds powerful and has particular strengths in the projection of warm mid-range frequencies. A slightly shorter scale length of 630mm and the neck transition at the 13th fret make this guitar very compact and easy to play. The built-in LRBags Anthem system is available in the background if this instrument needs to be heard even more in front of a large audience.

About Lakewood

Since 1986, the Giessen guitar manufacturer Lakewood, founded by Martin Seeliger, has stood for the highest quality in guitar construction. The western guitars shine with their workmanship, their great playability and their great sound. While Lakewood initially only built dreadnought models, there is now a large selection of body shapes such as Jumbo and Grand Concert. Lakewood is happy to respond to individual requests with its custom shop , so that everyone is happy. In our Lakewood premium western guitar section you will find a selection of the highest quality Lakewood western guitars.

With a lot of knowledge about the professional and artistic production of guitars, Lakewood Guitars in Gießen has been building high-quality acoustic guitars for over 35 years. Instruments are built with the highest precision using new technologies and tried and tested traditions whose sound, aesthetics and composition meet the highest standards.

In addition to the series models, the Lakewood custom shop is very popular. Here you have the opportunity to put together your own individual instrument with the help of the "Lakewood Guitar Designer". Lakewood is happy to help its customers from planning to building the instrument, gives valuable tips when selecting the many equipment options and helps them decide on their dream guitar. Since 2014, it has been possible to have your instrument entirely from local wood and thus have a truly sustainable instrument built.

It quickly becomes clear that there is a very special “spirit” at Lakewood and a great love for instrument making. If you would like to experience this for yourself, you can see for yourself during one of the Lakewood workshop tours in Giessen.

We are proud to work with Lakewood and have a large selection of Lakewood guitars ready for you.
