The construction / acoustic of the Martin 000 models represents an optimal compromise between volume , sound density and playing comfort . Eric Clapton values his Martin 000 above all else and uses the guitar both in the studio and on stage for fingerstyle accompaniments and soulful solos. And so it is not surprising that the 000 has served as a model for many modern auditorium-style instruments.
The 000 is available in many different tonewood combinations, the best known models are certainly the 000-18 and the 000-28. Because of its shorter scale length , the 000 is perfect for guitarists with smaller hands. Smaller body, super handling and an absolutely precise tone - the perfect instrument for fingerpicking .
The company CF Martin & Co., or Martin Guitars for short, can look back on a long company tradition and some innovative inventions. The company's inventions include special bracing (X-bracing), the neck transition at the 14th fret and popular body shapes such as the dreadnought guitar.
