Korg multi/poly Module
KORG multi/poly Module
Virtual-analogue redefined
With the multi/poly analogue modelling synthesiser, KORG elevates the world of virtual-analogue sounds to a new level. Inspired by the legendary KORG Mono/Poly, the multi/poly blends classic tone with cutting-edge digital technology to deliver impressive flexibility and sonic depth. Shortly after its launch the synthesiser was hailed as one of the best instruments of the year – a milestone for musicians and producers worldwide.
Maximum sonic power in a compact format
The new multi/poly module brings all the features and sounds of the keyboard version together in a compact 19" desktop/rack chassis. It offers the same intuitive control layout (with the exception of the pitch and modulation wheels) while being even more portable. Whether in your studio setup or on the desktop – the multi/poly module integrates seamlessly into any production environment.
With support for the MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange standard and polyphonic aftertouch, the multi/poly module is the perfect complement to the KORG Keystage MIDI-2.0 keyboard. It is also fully compatible with the multi/poly native software and a growing number of high-quality third-party sound libraries.
Next-generation analogue modelling
At the heart of the multi/poly module is its innovative sound generation. Through newly developed filters and oscillators, KORG achieves impressive authenticity that combines the best of analogue hardware with the advantages of modern digital technology.
Each voice features its own virtual voice card, producing subtle character differences – similar to the natural variations of analogue components. The result is organic, lively sounds that can be adjusted with precision.
Additional features such as modelled envelopes and VCAs, inspired by classics like the Mono/Poly, MS-20 and ARP Odyssey, give the sound a distinctive vintage character. Even portamento fans are catered for: six different models allow an authentic recreation of classic glissando effects.
Flexibility for any production
Whether in the studio or on stage, the multi/poly module offers maximum flexibility:
- 19" rack format: Perfect for studio racks and space-saving setups.
- Desktop mode: Adjustable angles for comfortable working seated or standing.
- Recessed connectors: Easy access even in the tightest spaces.
Ready for the future
Support for MIDI 2.0 and polyphonic aftertouch sets new standards and opens up creative possibilities for expressive performances. With compatible sound libraries and regular updates, the multi/poly module always stays at the cutting edge.
The new KORG multi/poly module is a masterpiece of modern synthesiser technology. With its impressive sonic variety, innovative features and flexible applications, it appeals to professionals and enthusiasts alike.
