The Korg miniKORG 700Sm is a homage to the legendary miniKORG 700, KORG's first monophonic synthesizer from the 1970s. This modern model preserves the characteristic analogue sound of the original while being enhanced with contemporary features to meet the demands of today's musicians.

The miniKORG 700Sm is characterised by its compact and lightweight design. By using a Slim-Key keyboard the size has been reduced to about 86% of the original, making the instrument particularly portable. Weighing only 5.8 kg, it is ideal for musicians seeking an easily transportable instrument.
Authentic analogue sound
The true beauty and richness of the miniKORG 700Sm's sounds stem from its authentic analogue circuitry. Rather than relying on digital modelling technology, this instrument reproduces the original analogue sound, prized for its warmth and depth. This was made possible through close collaboration with Fumio Mieda, one of the original developers of the miniKORG 700S.

The instrument also offers USB and MIDI IN ports as well as a CV/GATE IN jack, enabling seamless integration into modern setups.

The Japanese company Korg INC is one of the most renowned manufacturers of our time when it comes to electronic musical instruments and accessories. Among musicians the company is often simply referred to as Korg. The company was founded on 28 August 1963 by Tsutomu Kato and Tadashi Osanai. The nearly 300 employees at Korg INC are mainly engaged in the manufacture and marketing of synthesizers and samplers, drum machines and sound modules, keyboards and electric pianos, but also USB controllers, electronic drums as well as handy little helpers for guitarists. Worth mentioning here are clip tuners (Pitch-Clip), tuners (CA-50, GA-50, Pitchblack) and metronomes (MA-2) as well as guitar and bass effects.
