Over the years, the Morning Glory has undoubtedly become the best-known and most praised JHS pedal. It was originally developed in 2009 out of a need for an overdrive pedal that took the sound of an amp and catapulted it to the next level without adding mids and the tonal character of a TS-style overdrive. The goal was a simple pedal, damn transparent – nothing more, nothing less. The story of JHS Pedals began in 2007 at the desk of Joshua Heath Scott, Josh for short, who wanted to repair his Blues Driver pedal. He then became interested in effects pedals and their circuits, repaired and rebuilt his friends' effects devices and eventually started selling modified Boss pedals under the name JHS Mods in a local music store. A year later he started selling his own pedal creations and renamed the brand JHS Pedals .
