About Tim Henson
In 2011, Tim Henson founded the band Polyphia with his co-guitarist Scott LePage, bassist Clay Gober, drummer Brandon Burkhalter and singer Lane Duskin. That same year, the group released their debut EP Resurrect . A year later, singer Lane Duskin left the band and Polyphia continued instrumentally. From the very beginning, Tim Henson's inventiveness and his special playing technique were a cornerstone of the Polyphia sounds. After another EP, the band released their debut album Muse in 2014 with the help of crowdfunding. Polyphia were then signed by Equal Vision Records and re-released their debut album in 2015. In the fall of 2015, the band initially went on a US tour with Invent, Animate and the Headliner Erra . In 2022, the band released their fourth studio album , Remember That You Will Die , which features various guest musicians such as Steve Vai. The album peaked at number 33 on the US album charts. Loudwire magazine listed the album on their list of the 50 best rock and metal albums of 2022 and chose Playing God as Song of the Year 2022.

The Ibanez TOD10 is Tim Henson's third signature Ibanez after the THBB10 and the TOD10N. Like all Polyphia Signature electric guitars, this model is also an Ibanez AZ. With a neck made of roasted maple in the usual Oval AZ profile and an ebony fretboard , playing pleasure is guaranteed. The S-Techwood roasting not only ensures a special sound, but also makes the wood more resistant to external influences such as extreme heat or moisture. The medium jumbo frets made of stainless steel last significantly longer than ordinary nickel silver frets and provide a slightly brighter sound. The eponymous Tree of Death inlay is also a special visual highlight. The body is made from American basswood and is painted in a striking yet elegant Classic Silver polyurethane finish . Active Fishman Fluence Tim Henson signature humbuckers produce a versatile tone, from shimmering clean sounds to aggressive solos and riffs, everything is possible. The Fishman Fluence Voicing Switch, which offers three sounds per pickup , creates new sonic possibilities.
