Exceptional sound
The body of this 6-string electric bass is made of high-quality mahogany, combined with a poplar burl top . The result is a brilliant, warm sound with pronounced mids and highs. The sound is perfectly captured by the two Nordstrand™ Custom Big Split pickups and individually designed using the 3-band EQ. With the volume, balancing, treble, bass, mid and mid frequency controls you have full control over your sound.
Excellent playability
The solid body technology and the screwed neck construction made of 9-piece panga panga/walnut guarantee first-class playability. Thanks to the multiscale scale scale length of 32.5 - 35" (826 - 889 mm) and 24 frets on the Panga Panga fretboard , you have a wide range of pitches available. The Abalone Offset Dots inlays are not only a visual highlight, but also make it easier the orientation on the fretboard.
Attractive design
The Antique Brown Stained Low Gloss color / finish combined with the matte finish and black hardware gives the bass an elegant and timeless look. The including also includes a gig bag for safe transport and Schaller security locks.

If you take a closer look at the electric basses from the EHB series , then the saying in the title really falls flat. The special thing about the EHB series from Ibanez is that it comes without a headstock. The abbreviation stands for Ergonomic Headless Bass and, since 2020, has been characterized by a headless design without a headstock and a completely new body shape .
The first electric basses in the series come from the creative Ibanez Bass Workshop study and are based on the iconic Soundgear series . In order to save weight with the new body shape and ensure optimal balancing , the electric basses are equipped with an ergonomically shaped chambered body - a body with tone chambers .
The electric basses from the EHB series are available with standard , multiscale and shortscale neck versions as well as four-, five- and six-string models.
