The Ibanez BTB705LM-CTL has a powerful and assertive sound that brings every bass line to life. The Ibanez T1 humbucker pickups used deliver a warm, full tone with plenty of clarity and definition. The integrated 3-band electronics also offer a variety of sound options and allow you to shape and refine your individual sound . With controls for volume, blend, bass, mids and treble, as well as a 3-way mid frequency switch and an equalizer bypass switch, you are able to shape your sound down to the smallest detail.
The BTB705LM-CTL electric bass impresses with its unique BTB body shape, made from a combination of okoume and ash with a flamed maple top . This ensures optimal resonance and ensures that your bass stands out even in the loudest band. The full-length, 5-piece neck made of maple and walnut as well as the rosewood fretboard with 24 stainless steel frets and chic abalone dot inlays give the bass a luxurious touch and ensure a first-class playing feel.
The Ibanez BTB705LM-CTL is a 5-string bass with a long scale scale length (34" or 864 mm) that is easy to handle even for beginners. Special features such as the stainless steel frets and the zero fret ensure easy playability and a clean, precise tone. Additionally, this model is a fanfret model, which means that the frets are arranged in a slightly fanned V- form for better intonation and a more comfortable playing feel.
The hardware was also thought of: it is in black and perfectly rounds off the elegant design of the bass. This bass was made in Indonesia and although it doesn't come from a custom shop , it offers a quality and sound that will impress any bassist.
