Product information

The Artwood-series acoustic guitars for advanced players combine good playability and first-class tone at a very low price. A solid top of proven Sitka spruce produces a lively-sounding tone, which can be amplified in louder environments by the Ibanez SPT pickup system. The large cutaway of the western guitar lets you play the Nyatoh neck up into the highest positions. Finally, the gloss finish shows the dreadnought in its best light. Ibanez AW70ECENT:

About Ibanez Artwood

The Artwood series was developed to combine the best traditional elements with modern guitar construction. Technology is advancing at a rapid pace, and the world of guitar building is no exception. In developing the Artwood series, Ibanez has adhered to the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while also adding its own modern touches – as always with the aim of the ultimate guitar sound.

About Ibanez

The Japanese instrument maker Ibanez can look back on a long tradition in guitar and bass construction. Although Ibanez initially made a name for itself with idiosyncratic copies of traditional models from makers like Gibson and Fender, its own series gradually emerged, such as the Iceman, JEM, Artcore and RG. In the 1980s the company became particularly well known in the heavy sector with instruments that stood out for their modern features, distinctive design and excellent playability. Innovations such as 7- and 8-string guitars, born from fruitful collaborations with artists like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Meshuggah, further helped to establish Ibanez's strong reputation. Today the manufacturer offers an extensive range, from entry-level guitars and basses to exotic Custom Shop models. In addition, Ibanez also impresses in the field of effects and amplifiers, as the classic TS9 Tubescreamer proves. Here you'll find a comprehensive selection of guitars, basses, amplifiers, effects and accessories from Ibanez.
