The legendary blues harmonica
The Hohner Marine Band series is one of the most famous and traditional harmonicas in the world. Since its introduction in 1896, it has played a defining role in shaping the sound of blues, folk, country, and rock. Many legendary musicians – from Little Walter to Bob Dylan and Neil Young – have used the characteristic Marine Band tone and helped write music history with it.
Typical of the Marine Band is its warm, full sound, created by the wooden comb and precisely tuned brass reed plates. At the same time, the series offers several models that differ in construction, playing comfort, and craftsmanship.
