Product information

Guild 's iconic M-20 was the first guitar to roll off the assembly line in 1967, when the company had grown so much that it moved to a new factory. Nearly 50 years later, history has repeated itself in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in California. The M-20 is a concert-sized acoustic guitar with a solid mahogany top, bottom and sides, unofficially nicknamed the "Nick Drake guitar" because it is featured on the album cover of Drake's album Bryter Layter . It features a rosewood bridge and fretboard, bone nut and saddle, and an extremely thin satin finish that really makes this guitar "sing." The M-20's special features include a Vintage -style rosette and the Guild Peak logo in mother-of-pearl on the headstock. Each M-20 comes with a hand-signed, numbered certificate of authenticity and a hard case.

About Guild USA

The Guild USA series represents the spearhead of Guild's series produced guitars. Each instrument is hand-built in the Californian workshop and is subject to strict quality controls .

In July 2014, Guild began construction on a new, state-of-the-art facility in Southern California . The manufacturing equipment was shipped from the previous factory in New Hartford and brought into the new production facility. Ren Ferguson, a legendary luthier, has been named vice president of production and research and development. Ren Ferguson's experience with Guild and his many years of guitar building experience made him the perfect visionary to set up and design the new Guild factory. The instruments of the Guild USA series are now manufactured in this factory.

Guild is ushering in a new era of USA production . The interpretation of classic Guild designs through an innovative approach and the use of modern technologies ensures that these guitars feel and sound better than ever and are sure to be enjoyed by any serious guitarist.
