The Genelec 8040BPM is a compact active reference loudspeaker that is ideal for neatfield monitoring, radio and TV use, OB vans and home studios. The MDE enclosure (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure) made of aluminum improves the frequency and performance behavior with its rounded edges. The sophisticated filter technology means there is hardly any distortion. The Genelec 8040 BPM is also characterized by excellent imaging properties, reduced fatigue, magnetic casing, overload protection and a versatile spatial frequency response. Secure positioning is achieved thanks to integrated fastening points for floor stands and wall brackets.
