About MonoNeon
The bassist MonoNeon is a phenomenon : virtuoso, original - and endowed with inimitable humor , which is also reflected in his music. His bass licks can be heard in many genres, from southern soul to avant-garde to funk and hip hop . He worked with artists such as Prince, recorded the song Making a Movie with Ne-Yo and won a Grammy for Best Rap Album with Nas . The one-piece roasted maple neck is loaded with 22 frets and has a comfortable compound radius of 10 - 14 inches . The fretboard is decorated with elegant block inlays made of white pearloid. Custom-wound Fender Fireball 5-String Bass Humbuckers deliver punchy, crisp tone. The active 18 Volt preamp with 3-band equalizer makes the bass sound so flexible that it can be used in almost all styles . The Fender HiMass bridge improves resonance and extends sustain.
