Gold Foil pickups have become a real insider tip - these pickups could be found on many inexpensive guitars in the 60s, mostly from Japanese production. Their characteristic, pearly twang sound makes this pickup type unique. Fender has released some guitars and basses with this legendary pickup type as a limited special series. The Gold Foil Jazzmaster EB SHG scores with its cool Vintage optics and first-class sound. The maple/ebony neck is screwed to the mahogany body. A set of gold foil pickups can be combined with 3 on/off slide switches. The traditional Jazzmaster bridge is equipped with massive Mustang string saddles to prevent the strings from jumping out. Instead of the floating tremolo, Fender uses an iconic Bigsby tremolo on the Gold Foil model .
