Fretboard: Walnut
Denser tone, durable, stable fretboard.
Dhani Harrison has built a versatile career. As a multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer/songwriter he is as successful on stage as he is writing music for film and TV. He works with a wide range of artists, from Jeff Lynne and Ben Harper to the Wu-Tang Clan. He also plays drums – and loves the ukulele. It’s an important instrument in his creative toolbox.
The Dhani Harrison Signature Ukulele is available in two finish variants. The fretboard inlays and the engravings on the back are not mere decoration but have personal meaning for Harrison. With its tenor format and a 3/4 body depth this ukulele is an ideal live instrument. The top, back and sides are made of Ovangkol. Of course we’ve fitted stage-ready Fender electronics. An unusual detail for ukuleles is the tone control, which lets you vary your sound. Conclusion: The special construction and striking design make the Dhani Harrison Signature Ukulele the perfect companion when you want to expand your repertoire and try new things.

Haven't you always wanted to hold the instrument of your idol in your hands? Fender makes it possible with the Artist Series. This series includes guitars, basses and even ukuleles modelled on those of your favourite artists.
When designing the instruments, great care was taken to fulfil the personal wishes of the artists and to come especially close to their original instruments. All guitars and basses were conceived by the artist themselves in collaboration with Fender down to the smallest detail: colour, woods, hardware and the degree of ageing are decided by the artists themselves and implemented by Fender. The fitted pickups are usually special designs as well. Every instrument is crafted by hand with great attention to detail.
The list of famous musicians who play a Fender instrument is endless and ranges from renowned established rock and punk icons to modern pop and R&B artists. Most famous are Eric Clapton's famous Strat “Blackie”, Jimi Hendrix's white Strat and of course Jimmy Page's Mirror Telecaster. Recent additions to the Fender Artist club include R&B artists H.E.R. and Steve Lacy, Australian pop artist Tash Sultana and Grammy-winner and Americana artist Jason Isbell.
Every instrument comes in a design case or gig bag that is also based on the artist's desired design. Signature straps, picks or other special giveaways are of course included.
To make a Fender instrument available to everyone, they are offered in different price ranges. The subsidiary Squier sells affordable, Far East-made models built to original specifications with Fender know-how in the background. An affordable, "real" Fender can be found in the series made in Mexico. The classic original Fender instruments, such as the American Pro series, are made in the USA. For lovers of hand-built instruments and guitars with vintage flair there is the Fender Custom Shop, where you can even have a guitar built completely to your own specifications.
But Fender is not only known and appreciated for its instruments, it is also famous for various amplifiers such as the Deluxe Reverb, the Princeton, the Champion, the Blues Junior and the Fender Rumble bass amp range. Fender now also offers a wide range of guitar accessories like strings, picks, cables, straps, cases, tuners and care products, as well as spare parts and pickups, plus accessories and merchandising. You can of course find all of this at the music shop you trust – session in Frankfurt and Walldorf!
