The G1 series from Evans is available in clear and coated versions as well as a snare head with a centrally placed 5 mil patch on the bottom for extra durability and focus. All variants offer a 10mil thick layer and harmoniously combine bright tone, sustain, dynamic response and durability. The G1 heads set the standard for an open and expressive sound. Tuned low, it produces a rumbling rumble that emphasizes the shell's natural sound .
