About Jared James Nichols
Wisconsin-born Jared James Nichols is a true blues rock virtuoso . He now lives in Nashville and produces a type of rock music that is simply honest and expresses his passion for the music. With nothing more than a Gibson Les Paul over his shoulder, an amplifier turned all the way up and a microphone, the American guitarist and songwriter brings the stages and stadiums around the world to a boil. As a long-time fan of bands like Deep Purple, Soundgarden and Alice In Chains , who demonstrably shaped his sound , Jared has now finally arrived at the top of the world's rock musicians and is almost on a par with his idols.

A Seymour Duncan Jared James Nichols Signature JJN P-90 Silencer pickup , which was designed in cooperation with Jared and is perfectly adapted to his needs, ensures the right, hum-free sound . The Grover Rotomatic locking mechanics in combination with a wraparound lightning bar bridge in a brushed nickel optics and a Graph Tech NuBone saddle always ensure perfect tuning stability .
The personal touch
The Aged Pelham Blue finish was used on his guitar at the request of Jared himself and gives a well-rehearsed but not too rocked impression. The pearloid block inlays on the ebony fretboard and the headstock inlay give the guitar a more elegant optics. Jared has immortalized his signature on the back of the headstock, and the Blues Power lettering can be found on the bell.

Dem jahrelangen Wunsch der Community nach Annäherung an die berühmte Open-Book-Kopfplatte von Gibson, ist man mit der neuen Kalamazoo-Kopfplatte nachgekommen, die sich stark am Vorbild orientiert. Laut Gibson hat man außerdem die gesamte Serie nach alten Bauplänen redesigned. Neben einigen neuen Bauteilen wie Graph Tech Nuts und die in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Gibson Custom Shop entwickelten Deluxe Tuner wurden besonders die elektronischen Bauteile erheblich verbessert, wodurch sich jetzt beispielsweise CTS Potis in den Gitarren finden. Auch die Pickups wurden generalüberholt. Die Grundplatte und Abdeckungen von Epiphones ProBucker werden aus 18% Neusilber gefertigt, die gleiche Legierung die auch bei Gibson während der Erfindung des Humbuckers verwendet wurde. Durch diese Verbesserung liefern die Tonabnehmer einen transparenteren und klareren Sound.
