Electro Harmonix Pico Atomic Cluster
Electro Harmonix hat neben klassischen Effektpedalen auch immer abgedrehte, ungewöhnliche und einzigartige Effektgeräte im Programm. Aus der Pico DSP Serie kommt das Atomic Cluster Pedal - O-Ton EHX: ein Spectral Decomposer Effekt. Das klingt wie eine Geheimwaffe aus Star Wars, ist aber ein cooler Effekt für abgefahrene Sounds und Arpeggios. Die Frequenzauflösung des Eingangssignals wird heruntergerechnet und per Oszillator moduliert - es entstehen typische Glitch Sounds, rhythmische Arpeggios bis hin zu Ambient und Pad Klangteppichen. Dreht man den Atoms Regler im Gegenuhrzeigersinn, wird das Frequenzspektrum des Eingangssignals reduziert und in einzelne Pixel zerlegt. Mit dem Speed Regler kann das "Timing" und die rhythmische Wiedergabe des Effekts kontrolliert werden (ebenfalls per Tap Tempo Fußtaster). Mit dem Mode Schalter kann zwischen Smooth (die einzelnen Pixel gleiten ineinander oder Sharp jede Transiente wird einzeln wiedergegeben). Das Direktsignal kann mit dem Blend Regler stufenlos hinzugemischt werden.
