Of course you could say that the Electro Harmonix Crayon 69 is the hundredth distortion device from EHX. But if you look closer, you can see its raison d'être. On the one hand, the pedal is quite versatile thanks to the independent control of bass and treble, and on the other hand, the gain range is very wide and enables many different sounds.
