The British Pedal Company Dumble Blackface Pedal was inspired by the classic sounds of the Dumble overdrive Special from the late 1980s and 1990s. The pedal has four controls for gain, dynamic, tone and volume and a boost switches. To provide more headroom, the pedal can be operated with both 9 Volt and 18 Volt . Owners of the Dumble Blackface amplifier include Eric Clapton, Joe Bonamassa, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford and John Mayer.

The British Pedal Company brings together a team of designers and developers with over 60 years of experience in the music industry. The team originally developed, designed and created pedals for the JMI brand in the early 2000s and was very successful. In 2011 they split from JMI and launched their own range under the name British Pedal Company in 2014. Today, the British Pedal Company is able to offer a far superior product, thanks to the many hours of research that have gone into improving production and optimizing transistor manufacturing. All transistors are manufactured to in-house specifications to ensure higher reliability and lower noise.
