The ASM Hydrasynth Explorer has the eight-note sound generation from the Hydrasynth Keyboard and the Hydrasynth Desktop. The smaller 37-key keyboard offers the same polyphonic aftertouch as its larger sister models. Despite its compact dimensions , the ASM Hydrasynth Explorer offers an excellent playing feel combined with excellent expressiveness. The intuitive to use and extremely flexible sound engine impresses with WaveScan oscillators, mutator waveshaping, a dual filter section, a 32-slot modulation matrix as well as two insert and two master effects. The package is rounded off by balanced audio outputs as well as USB midi and full-size midi DIN connections, which eliminates the usual hassle of adapter cables.

The latest firmware update OS 2.0 is now available to all ASM Hydrasynth users free of charge on the manufacturer's website.
With the Major update in firmware 2.0, the groundbreaking synthesizer from Ashun sound Machines has been expanded to include many new functions such as a new modulation source and expansion to 8 memory banks.
