“My first sheet music training for piano & keyboard” by Jens Rupp was adapted to the successful concept of “My first piano school” and the sequel “My second piano school” and is a practical help, but also a useful addition to all piano schools that include the bass clef start with the small c.
Reading music is a difficult thing for many students. This is understandable, because keyboard instruments are played in two different clefs and learning the notes of both the treble and bass clef often becomes a tedious process. Added to this is the large quantity of keys or notes (up to 88). Like learning a language , it takes time and practice. It therefore makes sense to consciously look at the grades again and again and to get to know them better with the help of this grade school.
In “My first note training for piano & keyboard” the notes from (primed) c' to (double-primed) c'' are learned in the treble clef and from the small c to (primed) c' in the bass clef. Later, the note range in the treble clef is expanded upwards to the (three-primed) c'''. The lowercase h and lowercase a are also added. In the bass clef these are the notes from capital C to small c as well as the (primed) d' and (primed) e'.
In this exercise book, notes are labeled, played and entered independently. The position of the notes in the staff is repeatedly pointed out, i.e. on which staff lines and in which spaces the respective notes are located. It is advisable to use a soft pencil for the tasks contained in the booklet so that the exercises can be improved or repeated. The solutions to the tasks are located in the back of the grade school.
