In this continuation the material already learned is further deepened and playing skills as well as theoretical knowledge are expanded. “Meine dritte Keyboardschule!” consists of two parts. In the first part the use of new control buttons of the keyboard is introduced. Playing with an “intro” and a change of the accompaniment's rhythm within a piece complete playing with the auto-accompaniment. The already known keys are repeated and the new key D major, sixteenth notes and the dotted quaver are added as new learning content. In the second part, among other things, further notes in the bass clef, the walking bass, the key B-flat major and four-part chords are practised. The modern and classical pieces provide plenty of variety and enjoyment at the keyboard.
Jens Rupp has worked as a piano and keyboard instructor for over 30 years. With “Meine erste Keyboardschule!”, the continuation “Meine zweite Keyboardschule!” and “Meine dritte Keyboardschule!” a modern and fundamentally didactically thought-out series of method books has emerged, which is easy to understand and logically comprehensible for students and teachers. Through carefully graded lessons the basics for making music with the keyboard are taught gently – thoroughly, tonally motivating and effectively. It also contains many new compositions that lead the student with great joy and purpose to successful keyboard playing.
