The Alesis SR-16 is one of the most popular drum machine used by composers, studio owners and at performances. The simple reason: the Alesis SR-16's 233 excellent-sounding natural sounds , which are available as both unprocessed and reverb-processed samples. Thanks to the Dynamic Articulation function , the Alesis SR-16 makes it possible to play the actually static sample with realistic sound changes (pitch, volume and sound) depending on the velocity. The 50 preset patterns of the Alesis SR-16 were recorded by real drummers and saved unquantized in the device. Many other drum machine , however, use programmed patterns that cannot overcome the machine-like behavior. Every pattern on the Alesis SR-16 has built-in variations and fill-ins to create complete arrangements. Of course, you can create and save your own patterns, fills and variations. Alesis SR-16:
