The Swedish electronics manufacturer Elektron is expanding its inexpensive "Model series" with the Groovebox "Cycles". Inside the Model:Cycle there is a 6-track groove box with FM synthesis. The 6-tracks are called “Machines” in the Model:Cycles and consist of: Kick, Snare, Metal, Perc, Tone and Chord. They can be individually staged with 12 controls (including Color, Shape, Sweep and Contour) and programmed or recorded via step sequencer and/or real-time recording with up to 64 steps per track and 6 velocity-sensitive pads . With the Elektron Model:Cycles Groovebox your creativity gets a powerful and flexible tool for self-realization.

In terms of sound, you can expect malleable sounds that are at the cutting edge of digital technology and can be turned into completely different spheres with just a few simple steps. Most sound changes can be edited directly on the finish and if you want to go a little deeper into the matter, you can access advanced functions using the "Func button" and the corresponding double assignment of the keys.

Hip electronic producers and laptop beat hobbyists will be thrilled. Due to the compact dimensions and a weight of just 800g, nothing stands in the way of production even in the neighboring trendy café. The optional battery pack - which goes by the name Power Handle BP-1 - ensures that the Elektron Model:Cycles is supplied with enough power even on the move and cuts a good figure.
