Setting your turntable's tonearm optimally
If you enjoy listening to vinyl records or even perform as a DJ, you should definitely set the tonearm correctly so the stylus runs optimally in the record groove. This ensures the mechanical impact on the delicate groove is as gentle as possible and that your records sound excellent for a long time. In three short videos we show you how to set the tonearm height, balance the tonearm and set anti-skating.
Once the turntable is set up in place, you can determine the tonearm height, then balance the tonearm and set the optimal tracking force. As soon as the stylus runs stably and centred in the groove and you can achieve optimal stereo sound, you should set the Anti-Skating. In our videos we show you how to do it.
