Many players think of maple as a tonewood they either love or hate - until now. Taylor 's 600 series features Big Leaf Maple like you've never heard before. Master guitar designer Andy Powers has redesigned the 600 Series to create more presence, warmth and tonal range in the bass range. The result is a range of acoustic guitars with solid maple backs and sides and spruce tops , offering a unique playing experience with a special sound that adapts to different playing styles. Torrefied spruce tops provide depth and projection, and patented V-Class bracing provides increased volume and sustain. Maple's transparency and response make the 600 series a good choice for fingerstyle players or lead guitarists, but nearly all players will appreciate the series ' versatility and visual beauty.

Torrified spruce top
Andy Powers' re-voicing makes the 600 series sound warmer and fuller, and Taylor's new torrefaction process, which artificially ages the guitar's top , simulates some of the warmth that normally only appears after a certain amount of break-in time. The result is a transparent sound that puts your unique style front and center. Due to this process, the color / finish of the spruce is not as light as usual, but slightly darker, matching the look of the Big Leaf Maple used for the bottom and sides.
Maple body
Maple has long been associated with a bright acoustic sound , but Taylor 's maple guitars are tuned to bring out more warmth, fullness and sustain. This expands maple's tonal range from a one-dimensional sound to a more versatile sound. Depending on the model, the maple body is painted in either Natural or Brown Sugar Stain. Both finish options highlight the unique grain of the maple and make the guitar look particularly elegant. The Builder's edition models have a Silent Satin finish, while the standard models come with a high gloss finish .
Construction and pickup
Every model in the 600 series features Taylor's patented V-Class bracing, which provides more volume, more sustain and better sound quality across the entire frequency range . At the same time, the easy-to-play Taylor neck ensures a pleasantly relaxed playing feeling when gripping the strings. The Expression system 2 is Taylor's in-house acoustic pickup and pre-amp system, which faithfully translates the warm and shimmering sound of the 600 series guitars into a clear, natural-sounding live tone and stands out clearly from conventional piezo pickups.
Suitcase
All 600 series models come with a luxury hardshell case for reliable protection. The case with brown leather cover and wine-red lining offers the best comfort for your guitar and also looks good. The cases of the Builder's edition models also have a floral pattern for a particularly elegant look.
