For five decades, the name Taylor Guitars has stood for innovation, craftsmanship and an unparalleled passion for guitar building. Taylor Guitars' 50th anniversary is also a testament to perseverance and the power of a great partnership. The company founders Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug started their journey in guitar building in October 1974 . At the age of just 19 and 21 respectively, they fulfilled their long-held dream of owning their own American Dream guitar workshop! Since the founding days, they have been going their own way in the guitar world: Taylor Guitars has always represented their visions for top-class acoustic guitars!

On the occasion of the company's 50th anniversary, the guitar manufacturer is now presenting some of its most popular acoustic guitars in a limited 50th Anniversary Collection over the course of 2024. Each special model is limited to 1,974 pieces . In addition, each guitar shines with a few premium updates . In addition to particularly high-quality tonewoods (depending on the model) and a 50th Anniversary commemorative label , the guitars have golden tuning machines and bridge pins made of ebony with golden acrylic dots. We will tell you in detail which special model comes with which premium updates on the respective product page.

GS Mini-e Rosewood Sunburst LTD
The GS Mini is one of Taylor's best-known instruments, the GS Mini Rosewood in particular is very popular. To mark Taylor Guitars' 50th birthday, the limited edition GS Mini-e Rosewood in Vintage Sunburst is coming onto the market. It impresses with a warm yet percussive sound and stands out from the other GS Mini models thanks to its eye-catching color scheme. A reliable ES-B pickup and pre-amp system is also on board.
Taylor AD14ce-SB LTD
The 50th Anniversary AD14ce-SB LTD embodies five decades of Taylor history and is the first Grand Auditorium guitar in the American Dream series. The combination of Sitka spruce and walnut harkens back to Bob Taylor's first guitars, many of which were made in the humble workshop that gave the American Dream Series its name. The AD14ce-SB LTD follows the series ' proven design ethos, combining workhorse versatility with a down-to-earth neo- Vintage look.
Taylor 217e Plus SB LTD
With the 217e Plus in sunburst, the first Grand Pacific dreadnought is now joining the 200 series. With a solid Sitka spruce top and a sapele top, this slope shoulder western guitar delivers a punchy midrange with a warm, woody bass and slightly rolled back highs. The 50th Anniversary Limited edition 217e Plus SB is therefore perfect for strumming and playing techniques with a plectrum, but can also easily be used in fingerstyle.

The 50th Anniversary 314ce LTD takes one of the world's best-selling US acoustic guitars to new dimensions.
