Pickups & Tonal Variety
Tonally the SE Special Semi-Hollow impresses with two PRS 58/15 LT “S” humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield DD “S” pickup in the middle position. In combination with the intuitive coil-tap switching system, the sonic palette ranges from warm, full humbucker tones to bell-like single-coil sounds and unique in-between positions. This makes the guitar equally at home in jazz, blues, rock, fusion and many other styles.
