Martin OM-28
The OM-28 is one of the most famous Martin guitars and became known when it was first introduced in the 1930s for its balanced sound and characteristic herringbone binding . The OM-28 has been back in Martin Guitars' range since 1990 and has since gained numerous fans.
Basically, the construction / acoustic of the OM-28 corresponds to the body dimensions of guitars in the 000 design. However, the OM has a longer scale length and a wider neck , which has a positive effect on playability. Typically, the OM-28 consists of a Sitka spruce top with X-bracing and an Indian rosewood body . However, there are various custom shop and Signature models that use other tonewoods.
