Proven models, new features
The Pro Plus series presents two popular and proven Jackson models, the Soloist and the Dinky, in a new look. Both models are characterized by an ergonomically shaped Modern ST-style body. In addition to the classic 6-string models, 7-string and multiscale guitars are of course also offered in order to provide every guitarist and every playing style with the right instrument . Each design is a combination of proven features with new, modern features that significantly improve the sound and playing behavior.
Soloist
The Soloist is a Modern ST-Style solidbody guitar with Jackson's popular neck-through construction / acoustic, which improves sustain and ergonomics make it easier to access the higher registers. All Pro Plus Soloist models feature a curved okoume body, a three-piece maple and walnut neck with an ebony fingerboard. The flat 12 - 16" compound fretboard radius enables fast and fluid playing across the entire fretboard. Each Soloist comes with an HSS pickup from Seymour Duncan, which is operated via a 5-way switches , as well as a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double Locking Tremolos, which keeps the strings in tuning even when played harder. The use of jumbo stainless steel frets extends playing pleasure as they wear less quickly than conventional frets.
Dinky
The Dinky is also a renowned Jackson model and a solid body electric guitar with a modernized ST body. The neck-body transition is screwed differently than on the Soloist, which gives the guitar a more percussive sound than with a glued connection. The okoume body with arched top and the five-piece neck made of maple and walnut ensure a punchy sound with lots of attack. Like the Soloist models, the Dinkys also have a quick-to-play, flat ebony fingerboard with a 12 - 16" compound radius. The durable jumbo stainless steel frets are also used here, which are also partly responsible for the slightly more toxic sound . Most Dinkys are powered by a classic combination of Seymour Duncan pickups: a JB TB-4 humbucker in the bridge- and a '59 SH-1 humbucker in the neck position, which can be combined using a 5-way switches .
Dinky 7-String and Multiscale
The 7-string and multiscale models are special features . These combine the three-piece maple/walnut neck including ebony fingerboard with a flat 12 - 16" compound radius and jumbo stainless steel frets, as can also be found on the 6-strings, with a body made of American basswood, which is particularly toxic to the guitars sound with more treble emphasis. All of these models are delivered with active Fishman Fluence pickups, which perfectly capture and emphasize the sound of the body. Only the 7-string MDK7P HT comes with no less good-sounding Bare Knuckle Brute Force pickups.
New instruments, new look
Because, as we all know, the eye eats - or plays along - Jackson also put a lot of thought into the color and finish selection in order to perfectly round off the design of the Pro Plus Series instruments. The result is a wide range of exciting new satin, high gloss and metallic finishes. Some instruments also have tops made of quilted maple or poplar burl, which provide a particularly elegant look. The headstocks of each guitar were color-matched to the respective body finish in the matching headstock style and perfectly round off the modern guitar look. So that you can easily find your way around on dark stages, there are so-called Liminlay Side Dots on the edge of the fingerboard, which glow in the dark and show you the way to the right fret.
In addition, each model is delivered in a sturdy Jackson gig bag so that nothing stands in the way of starting your next musical adventure.
