Fender American Vintage II Series

With the American Vintage II series Fender looks back to its roots and positions the new premium collection of reissue instruments directly beneath the models from the popular Custom Shop.

While earlier this year modern guitar shapes and components from the Fender Player Plus Meteora series caused a stir, the electric guitars and basses of the American Vintage II series deal with Leo Fender's company legacy.

Nitrocellulose lacquer, period-correct pickups as well as neck profiles and true-vintage-style hardware are all on the blueprint, as is the popular vintage colour palette that instantly transports you back in time. Available options include classics such as 2-Color-Sunburt, Mocha, Butterscotch and Vintage Blonde, but also candy-shop colours like Surf and Seafoam Green, Fiesta Red and Daphne and Lake Placid Blue.

Thanks to vintage colours and components, classic electric-guitar shapes such as the Stratocaster and Telecaster — and the popular Jazzmaster with its elaborate switching — shine again and are built to the specifications of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

Iconic designs like the Jazz Bass and Precision Bass are equally captivating and evoke the vibe of bygone days.
