Evans UV2

We present you the new UV2 drumheads from Evans. In direct comparison with the skins from the popular UV1 series, the new ones are made up of two layers, each with a thickness of 7 mils. 7 mils equals 0.1778 mm. The skins in the UV2 series are also treated with UV light for a particularly long life . The patented UV-cured coating technology ensures that drummers no longer have to worry about worn or even peeling heads.

...you can get the brand new Evans UV2 heads in sizes 10, 12, 13, 14 and 16 inches as well as practical Fusion and Rock-Tom packs. We would like to recommend the new Hydraulic Red Snare Head to all drummers who want something more and are looking for a fat, deep and low-overtone sound . It impresses with the same features as the UV2 series, but is also equipped with a thin oil film between the two layers. Thanks to their strength, both variants – both UV2 and Hydraulic Red – are particularly suitable for trigger recording and thus for the popular hybrid drumming.
