Large selection of woods and body shapes
There are no limits to the choice within the series. The Traditional series offers many different body shapes, from dreadnought to OM and 00 models through to parlor guitars. The top wood is usually Sitka or Adirondack spruce, while the choice of body woods ranges from Sapele and Ovangkol for the more affordable models to exclusive tropical woods such as Madagascar rosewood or mahogany. Every instrument in the Traditional series has an all-solid construction.
With the Traditional series, Eastman is fully committed to classic designs that are reminiscent of well-known acoustic guitars from the 1930s and 1940s. However, the Traditional models are far from being mere copies of proven models. They have an open, clear, independent sound that sets them apart from most other guitars on the market.

Thermo-Cure treatment for the perfect vintage sound
On instruments with the suffix TC in the designation, the Thermo-Cure process was also used. In this process, the top of the guitar is heat-treated, which further improves the sound of these already high-quality guitars. Thanks to the Thermo-Cure treatment, the sound of the guitar comes across as if it had been played for years. Another eye-catching feature is the Eastmans Classic finish, which is also used on guitars from other series. The guitars in the Traditional series are supplied with either a soft case or vintage-style hardcase, depending on the price range. The cases in particular perfectly match the traditional look of the instruments.
