Close ties: session and the Gibson Custom Shop

For years session has maintained a particularly good relationship with the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville and since 2012 has produced an annual series of Les Pauls made especially for session with hand-selected tops and built at the Gibson Custom Shop to specifications set by our experts. We are in close contact with Edwin Wilson, Historic Program Manager of the Gibson Custom Shop. Our exclusive Player’s Cut and Player’s Choice models are therefore very popular. Beyond our own creations, the Frankfurt guitar department is an El Dorado for Gibson fans and guitarists in general. A visit is always worthwhile — everything is carried and brought to life by our specialist staff. The colleagues in the department, who already have long experience as musicians and guitarists, are trained and certified by Gibson. With their knowledge they are on hand to support you and are happy to help you choose the right instrument.

Over 200 different models from Gibson's extensive range are ready for you to try in the relaxed atmosphere of the Frankfurt electric guitar department. Not only in the room for Custom Shop electric guitars, but also on the main floor you'll find a comprehensive selection of electric guitars, whether ES, Explorer, Firebird, Flying V, L-4, L-5, Les Paul, SG or signature guitars like Joe Bonamassa's Les Paul, the Gibson Slash Collection or BB King's Lucille. Online you'll find our entire Gibson range with over 600 guitars plus accessories. Here you can check specifications and availability in advance. The Gibson Flagship Store isn't just devoted to electric guitars, but also to Gibson acoustic guitars from Bozeman, Montana. In Frankfurt you'll find a rich selection of Gibson J-45 special models that is unique in this form.
