Anyone can do cheap, and you can find a wide range online these days, but musical instruments aren’t toasters — they need to be tried out in person. We make sure every electric guitar – from the most affordable entry-level instrument to the Custom Shop top model – can be played on site. That’s why we have five demo rooms with amplifiers where you can thoroughly test your dream setup, plus countless guitar models for every style. Still looking for a few pedals for your board? We have a large selection of effects in our Pedals Paradise, from mini pedals to multi-effects units, from cool entry-level stompboxes to high-end boutique models.

Service, repair and restoration of electric and acoustic guitars and basses in Frankfurt

We’re pleased that, through our partnership with Hofmann Guitars and the luthier Normen Hofmann, we can recommend an experienced specialist for all your damaged guitars and basses. Normen is usually on-site in Frankfurt on Fridays and accepts repair orders. You’re welcome to arrange an appointment with him personally by e-mail.

Normen offers the following services (among others):

Service

  • Adjustment of neck relief, string action, intonation
  • Assembly and modification of electronics
  • Fitting of pickups
  • Fret dressing
  • Cleaning and polishing of all surfaces

Repairs

  • Painting/finishing in polyurethane and nitrocellulose lacquer
  • Routing work for e.g. new pickup configurations
  • Gluework on necks and bodies (e.g. broken headstock)
  • Refretting
  • New builds/reconstructions of necks and bodies

Minor jobs such as changing strings, adjusting the string action or a neck adjustment can, by the way, also be carried out by our acoustic and electric guitar departments.
