The zoom H2n is a cell phone recorder that further expands the diverse possibilities of its predecessor models. The zoom H2n offers recordings up to 24-bit at 96 kHz (WAV) or optionally 320 kbit/s (mp3). The five microphones not only enable XY, two-channel surround and four-channel surround recording, but also recently also recording using the M/S process. By recording a mid and side signal separately, it is possible to determine the stereo width of the audio material in advance on the zoom H2n. The zoom H2n uses SD/SDHC cards up to 32 GB as a memory , which can record over 50 hours of material in CD quality.
