The Yamaha YCL-650 B-clarinet is characterized by a clear, focused tone and a quick response. A new resonance chamber in the bell helps with projection and improves intonation in lower registers. The instrument is made from selected grenadilla wood and many manufacturing steps are carried out by hand, such as silver plating or the conical tune holes, in order to achieve precise intonation and excellent tonal balancing .
