STAGEPAS 200 offers all the features of a high-quality, portable PA system in a remarkably compact, cube-shaped cabinet. In addition to mobility and sound quality, it provides extensive functionality, intuitive operation and support for Bluetooth audio streaming and remote control. The STAGEPAS 200 is available with an optional battery pack and is suitable for a wide range of applications, from busking to events, parties and speeches.
A high-quality coaxial compression driver (8" LF + 1.4" HF) is driven by a 180-watt Class-D amplifier and delivers class-leading SPL, precise phase response, natural high-frequency dispersion and remarkably detailed sound. The integrated digital mixer with five channels (3 mono mic/line and 1 stereo line) offers unprecedented flexibility for a compact 'one-box' PA system. Each input channel is equipped with Yamaha's proprietary 1-knob EQ/preset and 1-knob effect controls. Together with the 'Mode' compressor on the main output, the user can easily and intuitively create the desired sound.
The 1-knob EQ/preset for input channels 1–3 also includes a built-in microphone simulator that allows you to dial in the optimal sound for acoustic guitars with a single control. A Priority Ducker reduces the volume of other sources when a microphone or a particular source is used, while an intelligent feedback suppressor automatically eliminates unwanted feedback.
The system is very easy to use. In addition to the onboard controls, Yamaha's iOS/Android STAGEPAS Controller app offers precise real-time remote control of volume, EQ and effects such as reverb, compression, microphone simulator, ducker and feedback suppressor. Settings can be saved and recalled, significantly reducing setup time and ensuring a consistently reliable sound. This allows the user to fully concentrate on their performance. And all this is housed in a cabinet of only 30 cm3.
The system's flexibility is further enhanced by the supplied rubber feet, allowing the unit to be positioned at a 30° or 60° angle. One side of the cabinet also features a 35 mm pole mount so the system can be used on a standard speaker stand or with a subwoofer and pole.
With up to 10 hours of operation between charges, the BTR-STP200 battery enables reliable use of the system at remote locations where no other power source is available, underlining the STAGEPAS series motto 'All The World's Your Stage'. The BTR-STP200 battery is available separately.
Another option is the CASE-STP200, a dedicated transport case with wheels and a large storage compartment for cables and other accessories, making it easy and safe to carry the STAGEPAS 200 anywhere.
